Mary Queen of Scots, the Captive Queen

Today's speaker was George Ecclestone who gave his second presentation about Mary Queen of Scots this one being "The Captive Queen".
He gave an audio visual presentation describing the events of 1567 and the next 20 years during which she was imprisoned and subsequently executed by beheading.
Held in various castles and great houses she was subjected to threats, bullying and intimidation ending with her death ordered by Elizabeth 1st at Fotheringay Castle in 1587. Her body was moved to Westminster Abbey in 1612 engraved with the words "In my end is my beginning".
