Andy Ingham
Our speaker was Andy Ingham from the RNLI, who he is an education presenter for them. His talk was very interesting giving many of us new insight into the history of the RNLI and the amazing support that Meltham people have given to pay for, or assist with the purchase of new lifeboats. He also made us aware of training, skill and bravery that many lifeboat crew have shown, also some highs and lows of such a dangerous volunteer profession.
