The Practical Implications of the Care Act

Today's speaker was Clive Barwell who spike on the practical implications of the Care Act 2014.

Club members gave their full attention to this subject which was clearly close to their hearts and Clive gave a very informative overview of issues relating to Social Care, Nursing Homes funding and NHS policy. He gave figures relating to income impact, capital basics and limits and the disregarded assessment of possessions in calculating savings, etc.

Members asked questions and there was clear view that Clive should return at a later date.
