Tellin' t'Tale

Today's speaker was Rod Dimbleby who spoke on behalf of the Yorkshire Dialect Society established in 1897 by one Joseph Wright.

Rod recited poems and recalled funny stories about Yorkshire's renowned accent and characters famous around the world.

He also offered members booklets and pamphlets to take away and gave members a chance to offer their own stories and recollection's.
